What is Aircraft Maintenance Engineering?

At Air New Zealand it means working on highly sophisticated aircraft such as Boeing 777, 747 and Airbus. It means possessing a high skill level and expertise in this world class, technologically advanced section of engineering. It also means a team effort, to ensure testing, operation and maintenance is carried out to the highest level.

What about our Fleet Maintenance ?

A big commercial jet receives about eleven hours of maintenance for every hour it flies. Smaller commuter airplanes, with their simpler designs and systems, receive six hours for each hour of flight.

Want to stay in the forefront of technology?

At Air New Zealand our engineering team enjoy varied roles and get to work with new aircraft such as Boeing 777 and the soon to be delivered B787-900, a first of its kind to be made out of composite materials.

If you want to reach for the skies, then look no further. We are looking for self motivated, lateral thinkers who will love a challenge and be excited to be part of our team.
